Penerangan CUFruits and vegetable visual merchandising display refers to the display of selected products in such a way that it stimulates interest and attracts customers to make a purchase. Merchandising is normally done on a daily basis or when there are special events and festivals

The person who is competence in this CU shall be able to determine merchandising display arrangement, attend opening briefing, select priority display, carry out department opening, carry out department re–opening activities, carry out department closing, carry out stock replenishment, monitor replenishment activities, conducts clearance of unwanted and expired items.

The outcome of this competency is to ensure that all product displays are in accordance with planogram/schematic plan and Food Safety Regulations, price display and sales during festivals and special events in accordance with KPDNKK regulations and FAMA 3P (Penggredan, Pembungkusan dan Pelebelan) requirements.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to ensure that all product displays are in accordance with planogram / schematic plan and Food Safety Regulations, while price displays and sales during festivals and special events are in accordance with KPDNKK regulations and FAMA 3P (Pelebelan, Pembungkusan dan Penggredan) requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:-
• Determine merchandising display arrangement
• Attend opening briefing
• Select priority display
• Carry out department opening
• Carry out department re–opening
• Carry out department closing
• Carry out stock replenishment
• Perform clearance items selection
