| Penerangan CU | Forklift truck is the most common and widely used material handling equipment, capable of lifting small palletized cargos in the workplace of less than 1 tonne, ranging to higher capacity 70 tonne container moving machines. Forklift trucks can be powered by battery, LPG or diesel. As with all mechanical handling aids, counterbalance operators must be trained, tested and carry a current certificate of competence. Forklift Truck Operations describes the competency in operating the material handling equipment safely and effectively. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare material handling equipment, carry out loading procedure, carry out cargo transporting procedure, carry out unloading procedure, carry out parking procedure and replenish forklift fuel / power source The outcome of this competency is to ensure that cargo is handled and delivered properly and effectively in accordance with job requirement and company standard operating procedure. |
