Penerangan CU | The reservation is a skill to make a reservation / booking for hotel or transportation or both. Ticketing is a skill to produce / issue ticket/s (air ticket, bus ticket, cruise ticket, ferry ticket, train ticket etc)according to customer itinerary and needs. The person who is competent in reservation and ticketing shall be able to gather reservation and ticketing information,execute reservation,confirmation of payment, issuance of ticket/s or tour voucher,handle booking amendment, carry out daily sales report and encounter corrective action. The outcome of this competency is to equip the travel agent staff on the reservation and ticketing skill according to the standard given by the company, authority body, carrier or provider. (such as Ministry Of Tourism,International Air Transport Association (IATA)). |

Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to produce / issue ticket/s (air ticket, bus ticket, cruise ticket, ferry ticket, train ticket etc) according to customer itinerary and needs. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Gather reservation and ticketing information • Execute reservation activities • Confirmation of payment • Issuance of ticket/s or voucher/s • Handle booking amendment • Carry out daily sales report • Encounter corrective action/error |
