| Penerangan CU | Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) Instrument Servicing involves the competent personnel to be able to perform routine instrumentation service following Work Instruction (WI) prepared by the superior. The competent personnel should follow step-by-step procedure as stated in Work Instruction to operate, calibrate and taking measurement for parameters covering pH, DO and ORP. The competency involves the competent personnel to carry out instrument functionality and cleanliness inspection, carry out instrument calibration and prepare instrument for measurement. The objective of this competency is to gain accurate, precise, consistent and reliable analytical result produced by the instrument. The result from the particular sample will represent actual scenario at site and assist supervisor in making correct action when needed. Accurate result will indicate the IETS is performing well according to specification stated in WI while calibration and handling of instrument follows respective manufacturers manual. The competent personnel should operate and identify instrument functionality status. Such scenario of having common error or malfunction, the competent personnel must report immediately to superior to get instrument back to normal operating condition. |

The competent personnel should follow step-by-step procedure as stated in Work Instruction to operate, calibrate and taking measurement for parameters covering pH, DO and ORP.Upon completion of this competency unit trainees will be able to: 1. Carry out instrument functionality and cleanliness inspection 2. Carry out instrument calibration 3. Carry out instrument storage and in between measurement. |
