| Penerangan CU | Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) Facility Safety, Health & Environment deals with competency in facilitating implementation of safety, health and environmental issues through the concept of environmental pollution and hazard related with Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) tailored to the risks and nature of IETS process activities. The competent personnel is able to assess, practice and recommend to superior the improvement on the overall safety, health & environmental in the workplace and able to identify & apply provisions of these laws that are applicable, and evaluate its performance. The scope of competency involves the competent personnel to facilitate occupational safety, health and environmental (SHE) practices, implement safety, health and environmental (SHE) program at IETS and implement Emergency Response Plan (ERP). The outcome of the competency is to ensure the competent personnel able to implement safety, health & environmental issues related with IETS activities such as environmental pollution & OSH risk control related IETS activities, identify safety, health & environmental laws, regulations (OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974) and other requirements linked to the competent person daily activities and implementation of health & environmental inspection and ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001. All OSH risk controls such as engineering control, administration control and PPE should always be in good condition, care and readily available to avoid any malfunction or unavailable during critical condition. | Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able toable to implement safety, health & environmental issues related with IETS activities such as environmental pollution & OSH risk control related IETS activities, identify safety, health & environmental laws, regulations (OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974) and other requirements linked to the competent person daily activities and implementation of health & environmental inspection and ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees will be able to: 1. Facilitate occupational safety, healthand environmental (SHE) practices 2. Implement safety,health and environmental (SHE) program at IETS 3. Implement Emergency Response Plan (ERP). |
