| Penerangan CU | With millions of passengers passing through airport terminal buildings annually, it is critical task to the ARFF team to organise and maintain fire prevention programs. It is mandated to provide fire protection services in the event of an aircraft incident or accident. ARFF Officer responsible in inspecting and testing all fire protection systems. He is also responsible for investigating all fire and safety complaints. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to carry out fire prevention inspection preparation, compile pre inspection information, conduct fire prevention inspection and produce fire prevention inspection report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure all buildings and structures are safe to occupy from a fire and life safety code standpoint according to Fire Services Act1988, Uniform Building By Laws 1984, Performance Based Approach (PBA) guidelines and OSHA 1994. |
