| Penerangan CU | Besides fireman itself, vehicle & ancillary equipment are also important in ARFF operation. Efficient and well-organized preventive and corrective maintenance are required to keep the ARFF vehicle & ancillary equipment working at their maximum capacity. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to monitor vehicle & ancillary equipment servicing schedule compliance, coordinate vehicles & ancillary equipment maintenance and repairs and produce vehicles & ancillary equipment maintenance report. But for any immediate breakdowns or non-functionality, he is responsible to coordinate for repairing upon the detection or occurrence of breakdowns. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that all fire fighting vehicles & ancillary equipment are in best condition and successfully maintained in accordance with Standard And Recommended Practices (SARPs) of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to ensure that all fire fighting vehicles & ancillary equipment are in best condition and successfully maintained in accordance with Standard And Recommended Practices (SARPs) of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Monitor vehicle & ancillary equipment servicing schedule compliance • Coordinate vehicles maintenance and repairs • Coordinate ancillary equipment maintenance and repairs • Produce vehicles & ancillary equipment repair and maintenance report |
