| Penerangan CU | Scheduled Wastes Handling are activities in the segregation, packaging, labeling and storing of different scheduled wastes categories, which need to be done in cases where wastes are incompatible with each other in accordance with Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005 and Environmental Quality (Prescribed Premises) (Scheduled Wastes Treatment and Disposal Facilities) Regulation 1989. The personnel who are competent in the Scheduled Wastes Handling shall be able to prepare scheduled wastes handling requirements, perform scheduled wastes segregation activities, perform scheduled wastes packaging activities, perform scheduled wastes labeling activities and perform scheduled wastes storing activities. The outcome of this competency is to be able to segregate scheduled wastes based on wastes code, packaged scheduled wastes with covered, no leaking, robust, intact labeled and stored at designated area safely comply with Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005 and Environmental Quality(Prescribed Premises) (Scheduled Wastes Treatment and Disposal Facilities) Regulation 1989. |
