| Penerangan CU | Sub-surface Discontinuities Inspection Works describes the requirement to inspect for surface / subsurface discontinuities in test materials in accordance with written work instruction / procedure for aerospace application. The objective of this CU is to execute ET surface / sub-surface discontinuities inspection in accordance with approved eddy current testing (ET) - written work instruction / ET procedure and to ensure that the detection of discontinuities on aerospace’s materials, component and structures provide accurate and reliable data that represent the actual condition of test samples. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare Eddy Current Testing (ET) - Surface / Sub-surface Discontinuities Inspection Works requirements, perform surface / sub-surface discontinuities inspection and evaluate surface / sub-surface discontinuities inspection data. |
