| Penerangan CU | The Eddy Current Testing (ET) - Non-ferrous Material Loss Measurement Works describes the requirement to measure thickness metal loss of non-ferrous materials in accordance with written work instruction / procedure for aerospace application. The objective of this CU is to execute ET non-ferrous material loss measurement works in accordance with the approved eddy current testing (ET) - written work instruction / ET procedure and to ensure that the measurement of non-ferrous material loss on aerospace’s materials, component and structures provide accurate and reliable data that represent the actual thickness of test samples. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare Eddy Current Testing (ET) - Non-ferrous Material Loss Measurement Works requirements, perform non-ferrous material loss measurement and evaluate non-ferrous material loss measurement data. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to execute ET surface/sub-surface discontinuities inspection in accordance with the approved eddy current testing (ET) - written instruction / ET procedure and to ensure that the detection of surface/sub-surface discontinuities on aerospace’s materials, component and structures provide accurate and reliable data that represent the actual condition of test samples. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees will be able to: • Prepare ET surface / subsurface discontinuités inspection works requirements • Perform ET surface and subsurface discontinuities inspection • Evaluate ET surface and subsurface discontinuities inspection data |
