| Penerangan CU | "Cargo Operation Handling is a process of ensuring that all cargo, which consists of deck, under deck, dangerous goods and heavy lifts are loaded, secured, discharged and transferred to respective clients as per cargo manifest. The person who is competent in cargo operation handling will be able assist during the whole process of cargo operation which starts by identifying and preparing the requirements for specific cargo operation handling, including gears and equipment, assist in loading, securing, discharging and transferring of deck and under deck cargos including dangerous goods and heavy lifts and prepare the vessel for departure in accordance with safe working practices. The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure that cargos are loaded, secured, discharged and transferred in a safe working condition as per cargo manifest and in accordance with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Job Hazards Analysis (JHA)." |
