| Penerangan CU | ARFF vehicle & ancillary equipment management is and activity to manage vehicle & ancillary equipment to be always in good condition. In an airport emergency, there is no room for error, so every ARFF vehicle & ancillary equipment should be maintained properly and timely to ensure that the team can utilise the facilities with utmost confidence. It is also to prevent health and safety problems and environmental damage; yield longer vehicle & ancillary equipment` life with fewer breakdowns; and result in lower operating costs and a higher quality of services. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare vehicle & ancillary equipment maintenance schedule, manage vehicle & ancillary equipment consumption and verify vehicle & ancillary equipment performance. The outcome of this competency is ensure all vehicle & ancillary equipment of ARFF is always in good condition and ready for emergency situation in accordance with Standard And Recommended Practices (SARPs) of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). |
