| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in tree felling on forest plantation harvesting. He or she is responsible for felling all standing trees in a forest plantation area using a chainsaw as per SOP. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able to prepare chainsaw, tools and accessories, assess forest conditions for tree felling, prepare a basic operational tree felling plan, assess individual trees before felling, prepare work area and escape route, fell trees and maintain handheld chainsaw. The outcome of this competency is that trees are felled in a forest plantation harvesting operation according to organisation requirements. |
