| Penerangan CU | "Sewing Area Health, Safety And Environment (HSE) Compliance Practices competency unit specifies the competency in complying sewing operations related to HSE. Activities comprises of practising good housekeeping and preventive maintenance of workstation and machineries as well as adherence to safety, health and environments requirements at sewing area/workplace. Definition of sewing area in this competency unit covers elements in apparel sewing activities such as work areas, facilities, machineries and environment. The person who is competent in health, safety and environment compliance practices should be able to comprehend work instructions in machine preventive maintenance, workplace organization, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment requirements and company Standard Operating (SOP). She/he should be able to prepare housekeeping and preventive maintenance requirements, check sewing workplace condition, carry out work area housekeeping and preventive maintenance, practice health, safety and environment requirements and upkeep work area after operation. The outcome of this competency is to maintain sewing area and machineries condition and ensure all machineries and tools are well functioned and safe to be used, workplace arrangement as per work flow and health, safety and environment compliance is practised in accordance with company procedures." |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to maintain sewing area and machineries condition ensure all machineries and tools are functioning and safe to be used and personnel adhere to health, safety and environmental requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Prepare housekeeping and preventive maintenance requirements • Check sewing workplace condition • Carry out work area housekeeping and preventive maintenance • Practise health, safety and environment requirements • Upkeep work area after operation |
