| Penerangan CU | "Ship hull steel structure cutting is an initial process in marine hull structure. This process is to transfer the design of ship drawings into actual ship size. This involves different stages of marking and cutting of the steel components. The person needs to understand and translate the detailed drawing into hull construction drawing. They must be competent to mark and cut using different methods and techniques. The person who is competent in ship hull steel structure cutting shall be able to prepare cutting requirements, carry out plate marking, perform mechanical cutting, perform manual gas cutting and report steel structure cutting work completion The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the marking and cutting process will increase the efficiency with less rework and wastages which in turn will improve productivity in accordance with ship building specification. " |
