| Penerangan CU | "Ship hull tank integrity testing is to ensure both the water tightness and structural integrity of the ship hull tank. The testing is conducted on boundaries of tanks. The person who is competent in ship hull tank integrity testing shall be able to prepare ship hull tank integrity testing requirements, carry out closure of hull openings, carry out tank integrity testing, finalise tank integrity testing in accordance with ship hull construction specifications. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the tanks meet spill requirements such as secondary containment, structural integrity, and overfill protection.
