| Penerangan CU | "Ship hull fairing work is the process of smoothening or fairing up a ship’s lines to eliminate irregularities in the ship hull. The fairing processes are the final steps performed on the exterior and interior of the ship hull. This work requires such precision that fairing is regarded as an exhibit of the skill of an artisan performing the work. The person who is competent in ship hull fairing work shall be able to prepare ship hull structure fairing requirements, carry out fairing process, carry out cooling process and finalise ship hull structure fairing work process in accordance with ship hull specifications. The outcome of this competency is to achieve a finish where the exterior and interior lines are within the tolerances specified by the Classification Society requirement or international standards. " |
