| Penerangan CU | Watch room is the central point for the reception of emergency calls and alarms from which fire vehicles and manpower maybe dispatched for response of all kinds and resources can be mobilised and directed. Watch room operation is a functional competency which is required by the fireman in order to perform tasks and responsibilities at the watchroom The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to review previous shift log information, perform emergency communication system test, monitor station activities and movement and handle emergency situation The outcome of this competency is to ensure that watchhroom officer at AFRS monitoring position at the AFRS watchroom is thoroughly familiar with watchroom procedure and incident reporting in order to effectively carry out their duties efficiently. |
