| Penerangan CU | Automotive assembly procurement control is the process of purchasing and buying contract management and supply management. Procurement is the function that ensures identification, sourcing, access and management of the external resources that an organisation needs. The person who is competent in this automotive assembly procurement shall be able to outline purchasing criteria / specification BQ (Bill of Quantity), establish purchasing plan schedule, prepare budget estimation, perform purchase requisition, coordinate discussion with vendor and conduct material evaluation / confirmation. The outcome of this competency is to be able to ensure identification, sourcing, access and management of the external resources that an organisation needs or may need to fulfil its strategic objectives. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to ensure identification, sourcing, access and management of the external resources that an organisation needs or may need to fulfil its strategic objectives. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Prepare yearly budget for Operational Expenses (OPEX) • Identify purchase item requirements • Perform purchase requisition • Coordinate discussion with vendor • Conduct material evaluation / confirmation • Report procurement administration |
