The process of inspecting data for errors and correcting them prior to doing data analysis. The screening may involve checking raw data, identifying outliers and dealing with missing data. The person who is competent in data screening process shall be able to identify data requirements, identify source of data, develop data screening script, carry out data screening and prepare data screening report The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the statistical analysis result is reliable to meet stakeholder’s requirements. |
