| Penerangan CU | Data transformation is the process of converting data from one format (e.g. a database file, XML document, or Excel sheet) to another. Since data often resides in different locations and formats across the data sources, data transformation is necessary to ensure data from one application or database is intelligible to other applications and databases. The person who is competent in data transformation process shall be able to identify data transformation requirements, carry out naming convention standardisation, carry out data cleaning, execute data normalization, carry out attribute construction and prepare data transformation report The outcome of this competency is to ensure the data is useable, reliable, and valid to be used and ready for loading process. |
