| Penerangan CU | Industrial Gas Emission Dry Control Operation Management describes the competencies required to manage the operations of the various types of industrial gas emission dry control systems. . Effective management of the performance monitoring of the APCS is a prerequisite for an uninterrupted and efficient operation of the control system. Examples of these systems are dry scrubber, thermal oxidiser, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and activated carbon. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to develop work instructions, manage compliance of performance data record keeping, troubleshoot APCS problems, manage waste disposal, manage stack sampling and propose APCS improvement. The outcome of this competency is effective management of the APCS system to ensure efficient and sustainable operation of the gas emission dry control system in compliance with environmental and HSE regulatory requirements |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to manage the operations of industrial gas emission dry control system according to regulatory requirements and manufacturer recommendations. Industrial gas emission dry control systems include dry scrubber, thermal oxidiser, selective catalytic reduction and activated carbon. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Develop work instructions for APCS operation • Manage compliance of performance monitoring data and activities record keeping • Diagnose APCS problems • Manage solutions for APCS problems • Manage material and waste disposal • Manage stack sampling • Develop APCS improvement proposals |
