In the manufacturing industries, production coordination generally manages a production schedule for the manufacture of a product. Production coordination usually tracks materials through the manufacturing process. 4 The person who is competent in this Competency Unit (CU) shall be able to identify storage requirement, prepare production planning, develop standard operation procedure documentation, manage production activities and coordinate report 5 The outcome of this competency is to prepare he/she creates, and helps implement, a master production plan. This coordinator may also be responsible to maintain the smooth flow of work between departments. |
