| Penerangan CU | The Competency Unit (CU) title describes the competency in Jigs and Fixtures. Jigs and Fixtures are production tools used to accurately manufacture duplicate and interchangeable parts. Jigs and fixtures are specially designed so that large number of components can be machined or assembled identically, and to ensure interchangeability of components. The person who is competent in this Competency Unit (CU) shall be able to identify work requirement, identify jigs and fixtures requirement, prepare machine and equipment , carry out jigs and fixture making, verify jigs and fixtures condition and report jigs and fixtures fabrication activities The outcome of this competency is to prepare he/she to be skills in the jigs and fixtures making. |
