| Penerangan CU | Passenger boarding bridge (PBB) Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) assessment is the competency which provides method or technique in implementing VDGS assessment, in order to maintain PBB availability and meet airport operation requirements. VDGS assessment is intended to prevent failure, wear & tear of the PBB components. The person who is competent in VDGS assessment shall be able confirm health check satisfaction test, organise maintenance activities and produce a VGDS maintenance master plan. The outcome of this competency is to enable/achieve successful process of VDGS maintenance system for PBB units with sufficient work listed in a master schedule as required in all airport organisations. It?s also to ensure work efficiency and safe airside area in accordance with IMS policy and regulations. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in Visual Docking Guidance System assessment shall be able to evaluate, troubleshoot defects and perform testing & commissioning of Visual Docking Guidance System in accordance with company policy and procedure. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- · Evaluate Visual Docking Guidance System performance · Assess Visual Docking Guidance System component functionality & performance · Troubleshoot Visual Docking Guidance System component defects · Rectify Visual Docking Guidance System defect findings · Perform Visual Docking Guidance System testing & commissioning · Verify Visual Docking Guidance System testing & commissioning |
