| Penerangan CU | Passenger boarding bridge engineering management function is the process of developing competent personnel in ensuring the availability of manpower, machinery, equipment and resource management system to optimise airport operation. In addition, budget planning ensures the continuity of airport business existence and the distribution of allocations done in the most cost effective and efficient manner. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to organise engineering staff function, produce divisional budget, manage contract and project implementation and testing & commissioning unit in accordance with company policies and regulations The outcome of this competency is to :- - enable/achieve a successful process of correct manpower selection with sufficient job specifications and maintaining of good safe environment, staff incentives and entertainment based on company policy and Employee Law1955 - develop realistic and effective budget planning in accordance with company policy and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) - facilitate project & contract management for airport equipment handling with sufficient work selection in the master schedule to upkeep the capability and efficiency of airport operation. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) engineering management function shall be able to organise engineering staff function, produce divisional budget, manage contract and project implementation and testing & commissioning unit in accordance with PBB organisation policy and regulation. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- · Assess PBB operation staff development · Organise staff competency evaluation · Implement staff improvement programme · Assess divisional budget requirements · Prepare divisional budget planning · Implement divisional budget planning report · Manage PBB pre-contract · Manage PBB contract implementation · Manage PBB post-contract · Validate PBB project proposal · Manage PBB project implementation · Verify PBB project testing & commissioning |
