| Penerangan CU | This routing configuration describes the competency required when configuring static/ dynamic routing He or she is the person to carry out static and/or dynamic routing configuration on site or by remote access (operation center) after the router has been physically installed inclusive of all wiring and basic configuration setup The person who is competent in static and/or dynamic routing configuration shall be able to prepare routing configuration requirements, perform static route configuration, perform dynamic routing protocol configuration, perform route and routing protocol troubleshooting, carry out routing service configuration check and prepare routing configuration & testing report. The outcome of this competency is to produce a skilled workforce which is able to configure routers and routing protocols in accordance with the given organisational requirements and standard operating procedures. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this Routing Configuration and Testing shall be able to prepare, configure and test both static and dynamic routing in an IP network to meet organisational requirements. It builds confidence, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills in a multivendor environment. To do this it is essential that equipment such as servers, switches, routers, etc. come from a variety of manufacturers and each individual has an allocation of time with each. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Prepare routing configuration requirements • Configure static route • Configure dynamic route • Troubleshoot static and dynamic route • Check routing service configuration |
