He or she is the person to carry out Wireless LAN configuration functions including device selection, installation, operational & security configurations and performance verification. The person who is competent in this Wireless LAN Configuration shall be able to identify Wireless LAN configuration requirements, select Wireless LAN device, prepare wireless LAN configuration, configure Wireless LAN device, implement Wireless LAN security and check Wireless LAN configuration. The outcome of this competency is to ensure Wireless LANs are installed and configured in accordance with organizational requirements and standard installation and configuration procedures. |

It builds confidence, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills in a multivendor environment.
