| Penerangan CU | Proof reading is the skills, knowledge and attitude requirement in carrying out careful reading of publishing documents to detect any errors in spelling, punctuation and grammar. It also involved checking of layout for their correct dimensions, placement, type of font, and other technical specifications. The person who is competent in proof reading shall be able to carry out the first page-proof reading, arrange authors corrections , carry out the subsequent page-proof reading, arrange index incorporation and carry out the final page-proof in accordance with the house style requirements. The outcome of this CU is to ensure all errors are detected, in the publishing documents by indicating the errors using proofreading marks and symbols in accordance with the house style standard and requirements. |
