It includes checking of feed power or temporary power for start-up testing, HRSG and DCS loop checks, combustion turbines and steam turbine, synchronization of the generators and load testing The person who is competent in power plant equipment functional test shall be able to prepare plant equipment functional test requirement, setup functional test requirement, perform plant functional test and report equipment functionality result The outcome of this competency unit will enable the power plant equipment functional test is carried out safely for plant equipment readiness |
