| Penerangan CU | Quilting describes the competency in the art of creating quilted items that involved process of sewing two or more layers of fabric. The end products are thicker padded material. Quilting can be done by hand or machine. A competent person in this CU shall be able to identify quilting requirements, sketch quilting design idea, produce quilting product, inspect quilting final product’s quality and perform work area housekeeping and maintenance. The outcome of this competency is to be able to produce a neat and value added products according to latest trend and quilting techniques. To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to have basic sewing skills and interest in creative sewing. |
