| Penerangan CU | Playground Periodical Safety Inspection describes the competencies required to conduct scheduled playground safety inspections. Periodical safety inspection should not be confused with routine inspection done by maintenance personnel. Periodical safety inspections are conducted by qualified playground safety inspectors to identify wear to the equipment and surfacing as part of a preventive maintenance programme. Periodical safety inspections can be performed monthly, quarterly, annually or as required. MS 966 requires playground safety inspection to be carried out at least once annually. A competent person in this CU shall be able to plan periodical safety inspection schedule, perform playground equipment, site and surroundings periodical inspection and prepare periodical inspection report. The outcome of this competency is effective periodical playground safety inspection in compliance with MS 966 and MS 2665 requirements. |
