| Penerangan CU | Ready-mixed Concrete Quality Supervision describes the competencies required to determine the acceptability of ready-mixed concrete received from the batching plant or supplier. Decision is made based on slump test results on concrete workability. The standards for slump test include MS 26-1-2:2009 Second Revision: Slump Test, BS 1881 Sampling and Testing of Concrete Materials and ASTM C143: Standard Test Method for Slump . A competent person in this CU shall be able to receive ready-mixed concrete, perform slump test, make concrete test cubes and perform housekeeping activities The outcome of this competency is performance of accurate tests to determine workability and strength of the ready-mixed concrete received from the batching plant or supplier. |
