Measurable aspects of equipment performance include costs, availability, utilisation and frequency of service. MEWP maintenance coordination CU describes the competency in planning, monitoring and maintaining the effective tracking and cost management for MEWP equipment according to company standard operating procedure. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare MEWP maintenance schedule, conduct periodical MEWP inspection, handle MEWP damage / malfunction, coordinate MEWP maintenance activities and verify MEWP maintenance activities The outcome of this competency is to ensure that MEWP is properly and efficiently coordinated and monitored in order to ensure that the equipment is operating at optimal levels in accordance with job requirement and manufacturer operating manual |
