Penerangan CU | Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Body (Chassis/ Structure) Maintenance describes the competency in Body (Chassis/ Structure) maintenance services of motorised and non-motorised GSE. Components of body (chassis/structure) to be maintained, repaired/rectified and tested such as tyres and wheel, suspension, break system and equipment indicators. Example of motorised GSE are water truck, water cart, passenger step, pallet transporter, main deck loader, lower deck loader, towing tractor and non-motorised GSE are dolly, baggage trolley, freight trolley, nitrogen cart, 10 -20 footer dolly and container dolly. A competent person in this CU shall be able to prepare body (chassis/structure) maintenance requirements, conduct body (chassis/structure) daily inspection / serviceability check, perform body (chassis/ structure) scheduled maintenance, carry out defective body (chassis/ structure) troubleshooting, perform defective body (chassis/ structure) rectification and perform work area housekeeping according to maintenance manual and procedure. The outcome of this competency is to maintain the body (chassis/ structure) of related GSE so that body (chassis/structure) are in serviceable condition as well as its cleanliness , functionality and safe for users in Aircraft and Ground Support Handling activities at Airport in accordance with regulatory and authority requirements, ICAO Annex 17/19. |

Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to maintain the body (chassis/ structure) of related GSE so that body (chassis/structure) are in serviceable condition as well as its cleanliness , functionality and safe for users in Aircraft and Ground Support Handling activities at Airport in accordance with regulatory and authority requirements, ICAO Annex 17/19. Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:- 1. Prepare body (chassis/structure) maintenance requirements, 2. Conduct body (chassis/structure) daily inspection / serviceability check, 3. Perform body (chassis/ structure) scheduled maintenance, 4. Carry out defective body (chassis/ structure) troubleshooting, 5. Perform defective body (chassis/ structure) rectification 6. Perform work area housekeeping |
