| Penerangan CU | Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Air Starter Unit Maintenance describes the competency in Air Starter Unit maintenance services of GSE. The Air Starter Unit components to be maintained, replaced/repaired and tested such as air compressor hose and coupling, compressor gauges as well as safety features complemented with the system. A competent person in this CU shall be able to prepare Air Starter Unit maintenance requirements, conduct Air Starter Unit daily inspection / serviceability check, perform Air Starter Unit scheduled maintenance, carry out defective Air Starter Unit troubleshooting, perform defective Air Starter Unit rectification and perform work area housekeeping according to maintenance manual and procedure. The outcome of this competency is to maintain the Air Starter Unit of related GSE so that Air Starter Unit are in serviceable condition (good functionality , no leakages and specified pressure level) and safe for users in Aircraft and Ground Support Handling activities at Airport in accordance with regulatory and authority requirements, ICAO Annex 17/19. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to maintain the Air Starter Unit of related GSE so that Air Starter Unit system are in serviceable condition and safe for users in Aircraft and Ground Support Handling activities at Airport in accordance with regulatory and authority requirements, ICAO Annex 17. Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:- 1. Prepare Air Starter Unit maintenance requirements 2. Conduct Air Starter Unit daily inspection / serviceability check 3. Perform Air Starter Unit scheduled maintenance 4. Carry out defective Air Starter Unit troubleshooting 5. Perform defective Air Starter Unit rectification 6. Perform work area housekeeping |
