| Penerangan CU | Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Hot Work Maintenance the competency to perform hot work process to fix and repair broken motorised and non-motorised GSE such as maintenance ladder, stand, aircraft chock and trolleys. The hot work maintenance process involve parts fabrication, assembly and welding/joining by bolts and finishing process inclusive grinding , primer/ undercoating and secondary painting. Type of materials used in hot work process are mild steels, round bar, “square” hollow bar and aluminium chequer plate. A competent person in this CU shall be able to assess hot work process requirements, prepare hot work tools, equipment and materials, carry out hot work process and test GSE repaired components. The outcome of this competency is to repair broken structure/part of GSE by hot work processes based on technical drawing and Specified equipment, tools and materials as per manufacturer specification. |
