| Penerangan CU | RORO (Roll On Roll Off) Operation Supervision describes the competency in carry out roll on and roll off especially vehicles operation handling on ships. Ships with ram and special gears are designated for the handling, shipment, storage and loading or unloading of vehicles into or out of vessels. The personnel who aspires to be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competencies in preparing pre arrival requirement, produce work sequence planning, perform manpower arrangement, perform toolbox and safety briefing, coordinates tools and equipment preparation, assist berthing activity and coordinate housekeeping activity, coordinate RORO cargo operation and shall be able to produce report in accordance to SOP and port authority requirement. To perform the CU, the personnel is required to have a valid driving license, knowledge and skills in driving vehicles in and out of vessels vehicles RORO operation and physical fit to perform works. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that stevedores equipped with knowledge and skills to carry out RORO operation handling using designated tools and equipment. |
