| Penerangan CU | Mechanical reliability, availability and asset integrity management describes the competency in evaluating a system or component of major/critical equipment to function under stated conditions for a specified period of time or at a specified moment or interval of time A competent person in this CU shall be able to identify major/critical equipment status, develop reliability, availability and asset integrity plans, develop inspection program, analyse reliability data, recommend a reliability, availability and asset integrity action plan and produce reliability, availability and asset integrity report The outcome of this competency is avoiding the costs of failure caused by system downtime, cost of spares, repair equipment, personnel, and cost of warranty claims and the same time preserving life and nature in accordance with organisation’s plant (mechanical) reliability, availability and asset integrity plan |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to avoid the costs of failure caused by system downtime, cost of spares, repair equipment, personnel, and cost of warranty claims and the same time preserving life and nature in accordance with organization’s plant (mechanical) reliability, availability and asset integrity plan. Upon completion of this competency units, traineees will be able to:- 1. Identify major/critical equipment status 2. Develop reliability, availability and asset integrity plans 3.
