It includes operation like start up, inspection of pre-start up condition and switching of auxiliary system. The mode of control may be manual or automatic and may be controlled locally or from remote location. Small Hydro Plant Pre-Start Up Operation describes the competency required to oversee and execute the Pre-Start Up Operation of small hydro plant. A competent person in this CU shall be able to carry out small hydro pre-start up operation preparation, carry out pre-start up condition inspection, carry out auxiliary switch on /off and carry out work place house-keeping and documentation The outcome of this competency is to ensure efficient operation of small hydro plant from the initial stage that meet the production requirement, guidelines and company Standard Operating Procedure. |
