| Penerangan CU | Oil drilling is a complex process that involves the drilling and extracting of oil from underground wells. In drilling operations drill bits are used to cut through the earth and create a hole. As the hole gets deeper, pipe is added to the drill bit to allow it to dig further. The drilling is assisted by many other systems. The competent person will be able provide support in drilling process. This CU covers a range of activities from receive and interpret work instructions, apply and supervise HSE procedures, operate operational drilling equipment, perform tools and equipment basic maintenance, apply damage controlling methods to environment as well as monitor and maintain stock and supplies levels. The outcome of this CU is the development of competencies to provide support in the drilling process. |
