| Penerangan CU | Ramp Safety And Security Compliance Enforcement describes the competency relating to safety and security regulations applicable to airport ramp operational activities and the operation of motorised/non-motorised equipment within ramp area. All processes and procedures carried out in Ramp Operation shall comply regulatory requirements and guidelines specified by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM), Airport Authority, Department Safety and Health (DOSH), while the best practices in operation are stipulated in IATA Airport Handling Manual (AHM), Ground Handling Manual, IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO), IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation (DGR) and IATA Live Animal Regulation (LAR), as well as Aviation Security (AVSEC) on activities related to Airport security. For Airside safety compliance, all operations shall adhere to ICAO Annex 17/18/19. A competent person in this CU shall be able to assess airside safety and security requirements, implement safety and security compliance programme, coordinate with GSE maintenance for preventive & corrective measure and monitor compliance safety and security standards procedure as per safety manual and company policy. The outcome of this competency is to assure safety and security compliances at ramp working area as per Airside safety and security compliance, as well as regulatory requirements. To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to be qualified with driving license (Airfield Driving Permits from Airport Authority and JPJ. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to assure safety and security compliances at ramp working area as per Airside safety and security compliance, as well as regulatory requirements. Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:- 1. Assess Airside Safety and Security Requirements 2. Implement Safety and Security Compliance Programme 3. Coordinate With GSE Maintenance For Preventive & Corrective Measure. 4. Monitor Compliance Safety and Security Standards Procedure. |
