| Penerangan CU | Ceramic Raw Materials Preparation describes the competency in preparing, mixing and storing of claybody/engobe/glaze/paste are mixture of various types of clay, minerals, and other materials. The formulations of these items are based on specific ceramic final product. A competent person in this CU shall be able to identify ceramic raw materials preparation requirement, perform claybody/ engobe/glaze/paste processing & sampling & testing, perform claybody/ engobe/glaze/paste storage and perform work area and equipment housekeeping. The outcome of this competency is to produce claybody in the forms of cake / slip / powder in accordance with mixture formulation, types of ceramic product, quality standard and safety requirements. |

Perform claybody/ engobe/glaze/paste sampling & testing 4. Perform claybody/ engobe/glaze/paste distribution and storage 5. Perform work area & equipment housekeeping |
