Penerangan CU | Family Takaful/ Life Insurance Claims Assessment is the second stage in processing family takaful/ life insurance claims. In this stage the information and documents are assessed in details to ensure it is within the insured category and falls within contractual provisions. If there is any suspicious or “Red Flag”, further investigation is recommended. Based on the assessment findings, the claims is concluded either approve or decline if the case is within the claims personnel’s authority limit or otherwise the case is escalated to the higher authority. The person who is competent in Family Takaful/ Life Insurance Claims Assessment shall be able to validate benefit eligibility, analyse claims information and ascertain claims decision in accordance with Company’s guidelines and regulatory bodies’ requirements. The outcome of this competency is to conclude and decide the claims whether to approve or to repudiate or to escalate the case base on the personnel’s authority limit in accordance with company’s guidelines and regulatory bodies’ requirements. |
