Penerangan CU | Agriculture & Agro-based products quality management a process through which agriculture & agro-based products sales & marketing operation and business seeks to ensure that product quality is maintained or improved and merchandized errors are reduced or eliminated. They may include the quality control for the operation of business to create an environment in which both marketers and consumers strive for standards of products quality perfection. This is done by training personnel, creating benchmarks for product quality, periodical checking and testing of products to check for statistically significant variations The person who is competent in agriculture & agro-based products quality management shall be able to determine product shelf life, check agriculture & agro-based product of legislative compliance, carry out stock inspection, labelling & retagging procedure and prepare quality control reports The outcome of this competency unit is to enable agriculture & agro-based products sales and marketing are kept and controlled with the validity compliances to retain customers’ satisfaction. They is no specific pre-requisite in this competency unit, however the practitioners should practice integrity and ethical manner in their occupation for operational worthiness. |
