| Penerangan CU | Piping fabrication project materials storage & control refers to the activities of receiving, storing, issuing and distribution of piping materials to production stations from the secondary storage area at the fabrication site. This CU outlines the requirements for the systematic control of piping materials held under shop and site conditions such as to prevent damage or deterioration or loss of identity. The person competent in this CU shall be able to identify piping materials storage and control requirements, monitor piping materials stock level, follow up to expedite procurement activities, supervise storage area, receive piping materials and supervise materials handling, storage, issuance and distribution to production areas. The outcome of this competency is the efficient and systematic management of piping fabrication material storage and control in the field of oil and gas industry. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to perform materials storage and control in accordance with piping and project specifications. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- Identify project materials storage & control requirements Monitor project materials stock level Follow up to expedite procurement activity Supervise project materials storage area Receive project materials from store as per production request Supervise project materials handling & storage Supervise project materials issuance and distribution to production related teams |
