| Penerangan CU | Port management is subject to statutory regulations compliance in its cargo operation implementation. The port in complying with these regulations has embedded a system which is known as Company Management System combines all related components which include government agencies, port by laws, local authorities, OSHA regulation, international regulations, etc of a business into one system to facilitate operation management. Port cargo operation regulatory compliance & implementation is the competency required in the port organisation system to maintain efficiency of port operation activities. It is also to ensure work efficiency with available manpower and equipment working in safe working area in accordance with company management system/ security policy and regulatory requirements. The person who is competent in ort regulatory compliance & implementation shall be able to review information related to company management system/ security matters and procedure for cargo operation handling, organise awareness for safety compliance, suggest improvement and propose upgrading of system or overcome rectification findings as per organisation rule and policy The outcome of this competency is to enable/achieve successful process of updating and reviewing procedure and policy in cargo operation activities with safe and free from incidents threatening lives of the port community |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in ort regulatory compliance & implementation shall be able to review information related to COMPANY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM/ security matters and procedure for cargo operation handling, organise awareness for safety compliance, suggest improvement and propose upgrading of system or overcome rectification findings as per organisation rule and policy.. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Review port cargo operation regulatory compliance procedure • Conduct port cargo operation regulatory awareness program • Organize port cargo operation regulatory compliance audit • Verify port cargo operation regulatory compliance audit findings • Carry out port cargo operation procedure improvement |
