| Penerangan CU | Contract management is the management of the contracts made with customers, vendors, partners or employees. The personnel involved in Contract Administration/ Management required to negotiate, support and manage effective contracts are expensive to train and retain. Cargo Operation Contract Management is the primary objective of this activity which is to report on the existing condition of the resources and to maintain a reliable operation, value and expected life based on service level agreement. The personnel who is competent in Project Management shall be able to organise vendor’s selection, organise contract project, validate and make recommendation for operation contract management improvement. The outcome of this competency is to enable/achieve successful process of project management for operation handling or cargo shipment safety, without damage to cargo and injuries to lives. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in cargo contract management is the contract are recommendations based on the cargo handling operations equipment, manpower utilization, logistic support service rental, or equipment serviceability charge and development of current market value for each operation is reflecting an estimate on what the specified cargo could be worth on the open market. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Validate operation contract’s proposal • Validate operation contract documentation • Manage operation contract implementation • Verify operation contract testing and commissioning • Manage cargo operation defect liability period |
