| Penerangan CU | Piping fabrication engineering management deals with designing and planning of fabrication procedures including preparation of Material Take-Off (MTO), purchase requisition for consumables and SOP for fabrication and installation work. It ensures that piping fabrication work complies with technical requirements as specified in the project specifications. The person competent in this CU shall be able to prepare MTO, prepare purchase requisition for consumables, check technical specifications of materials received, verify shop drawings, identify piping fabrication and installation methods and prepare red-line mark-up for as-built drawings. The outcome of this competency is effective management of piping fabrication engineering in accordance with technical specifications. |
