| Penerangan CU | General clinical biochemistry test management and result validation describes the competency in managing General Clinical Biochemistry laboratory tests and results taking into account pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical aspects. A competent person in this CU shall be able to manage electrolytes tests and result validation, manage carbohydrate metabolism tests and result validation, manage lipid and lipoprotein test and result validation, manage acid base and blood gases test and result validation, manage non-plasma body fluid test and result validation, and manage iron profile test and result validation. The outcome of this competency is to ensure all General Clinical Biochemistry tests are managed accordingly and accuracy of results are validated in accordance with MS ISO15189 requirements and Quality Policy of the lab |
